Here are ten powerful habits that would turn you into the best version of yourself.

Being productive nowadays is the new daily dose of morphine. Try this planner, get this app, follow this five-minute video, and it seems our world is now over complicated. Let’s call Khaby? You’re good. Dear friends, its time you escaped the world and try a few things we learned from some of the world’s most successful entrepreneurs and we’ve compiled the best ten powerful habits that will turn you into the best version of yourself. (#5. Your phone isn’t a toy).

#1. List Three Important Things To Do

This should be done first thing first in the morning, or right before you go to bed. It helps you cut out all unnecessary things on your schedule, and make you focus on those tasks head on. It helps you to avoid procrastination, multitasking, and stressing yourself about what to even do. For instance, prepare a to-do list and select three items which are important and one that’s urgent. Spend more time on the urgent one and delegate the important ones for later.

#2. The Ten Years Test

We’ve all been there. That awkward moment when you messed up really bad at work, and your boss starts acting up as if you’re the only bad employee ever hired. It sucks, so you get really upset, and it stresses you out for the rest of the day, week, or even your entire career. Truth is, will it matter to you in ten years? We don’t think so. So, if you ever run into tough situations, instead of stressing or worrying about it, ask yourself, will this even matter in the next 10 minutes, 10 days, 10 months, or even 10 years? If not, then forget about it.

#3. Learn Something New Daily

This could be a list of new habits, skills, or a new language, or even learning more about what you already know. Truth is, learning something new every day has a positive impact on your mental health. Research shows that several regions of your brain develops more rapidly when you learn new things randomly. The 5-hour rule is one of the most productive strategies to help you learn just by cultivating an hour of your time daily. Just push yourself beyond your comfort zone and find something interesting to learn every day. Or simply follow us.

#4. Listen To Motivational Speakers

Motivation is what drives us to be the best of who we are. Being inspired by the right person has a tremendous effect on your mood, and could yield loads of productivity. Regularly attend motivational seminars, ant ensure your social media feed is cluttered with motivational memes. But for the best experience, try watching a motivational leader discuss insightful reflections on YouTube that inspires you. Here’s a YouTube channel we recommend that will lift up your game.

#5. Use Your Phone As A Tool

Of course, a smartphone is simply a toy for grownups nowadays. Those awkward moments when you just can stop scrolling through social media feed, or you seem not to get enough to do, so you pick up your smartphone like its a prescription pill. Huh? Your smartphone isn’t a toy. Learn to do productive things with your phone like creating an Instagram account you update inspirational posts for people to interact with. Who knows, you could eventually become a social media influencer, and earn a side hustle from it. We could even link up with you.

(Fun fact: Did you know that The Factionary was entirely created on a smartphone?)

#6. Practice Gratitude

Every morning or right before you go to bed, tell yourself three things you did that you’re grateful for. This will make you feel a lot more happier. Or you can write them down on (you guessed it) ‘thank-you’ notes, and paste them where you’ll easily find it next time you’re around. Practicing gratitude isn’t just to yourself, and reaching out to people with a thank you can simply make their day, too. That awe-inspiring moment when you pick up a ‘thank-you’ note, and read that sentiment that seems to refresh your day. Awww!

#7. Eat A Healthy Diet Daily

They say a healthy mind resides in a healthy body, and that body needs to be fed healthy diet, too. Nonetheless. Most people often crave for junk food, and you’re not alone. It tastes good, but its not good for you. And the best way to start eating healthy is to treat yourself by eating at home. Or you can try some homemade smoothies as part of your morning routines, its quick, easy and pretty healthy. Munching on your veggies for minutes in the morning seems like a time waster, huh? Get a refreshing smoothie and you’re good to go.

#8. Workout Often

Got something good to eat? Then get your body in good shape, too. Aforementioned, a healthy mind resides in a healthy body, and you’re literally what you eat. You can’t workout a bad diet, so if you’re looking out for those abs to show off, or that all important summer bikini body, hit the gym quite often. Try working out first thing first early in the morning, or later in the evening. Either way, never miss more than two days of workout and you’ll see positive result — especially with the former workout routine. Just get that body in shape.

(Fun fact: Did you know that all members, directors, and employees of The Factionary workout at least 100 minutes each week?)

#9. Build A ‘Good-Feeling’ Team

Positive reinforcement has a profound effect on you. Cultivate much of your time around people who help you level up your game. This could be family and friends who have a similar mindset like yours and who always see light at the end of the tunnel. But if you have a negative friend around, cut them off with immediate effect. Get rid of toxicity in your life as soon as possible, and build a “good-feeling” team — a group of motivational and inspirational buddies who have that “never-give-up” attitude, and let your light shine.

#10. Be Experimental

Let’s say you plan on building a blog. Good choice. How do you even start? Good question, too. And what’s the best way to know? Experiment. Test your ideas and develop a bias towards the ones that will eventually work out. For instance, The Factionary started just as a Facebook page for fun facts. Yes! And it seems that was all it was going to be. From that point onwards, we made several developments through countless trial and errors, and here we are today — a multipurpose e-learning media blog site.

That’s how all the world’s great companies started — from backyard garages, warehouses, college dorm rooms, and one depressed college dropout (that’s founder of The Factionary). Who knows how you’ll come up with the next revolutionary idea. Experiment a few ideas and see what happens. Like they say, Rome was not build in a day inasmuch as Thomas Edison did not invent the lightbulb overnight. Try and see!
